Eat Food. Not Too MUch. Mostly Plants

Who said that, in my story today?
Michael Pollan in “In Defense of Food” a very good read, as are most of his books, one may say all of his books. Here is a new book, for our library of many, especially cook books.
“The Oh She Glows Cookbook” Over 100 Vegan Recipes to Glow from the Inside Out, by Angela Liddon. She tells a compelling story of her health progression and food. When I read a cook book I tab the pages where I see a recipe that is compelling and that I want to make. Can’t help it if the chocolate ones are well marked. Angela starts the book with a detailed pantry and equipment list that is very well done. She explains her rationale of choices in easy to understand and agree terms. The recipes are interesting, relatively easy, very healthy, and each has a story to go with it so you want to make it. Let’s compare our faves, after we make some, not just by reading about them.
