Men’s Health Month Exercise and fertility
Exercise. What a 4 letter word. It’s only good for better sleep, digestion, blood flow to vital parts, increasing and maintaining muscle mass so you don’t fall, and after your 30’s helps prevent sarcopenia, ’cause without it you stand to lose >50% of your muscle mass by your 80’s. Since we are designed to swing through trees it may be encouraging to keep doing something like that. We are not designed to be sedentary. 30 minutes a day of some sweat producing activity, besides getting out of your chair and walking around about every 45 minutes. This doesn’t mean you are breathless and sore, it does mean that you are moving with intention and purpose. It will do a body good to be more active to get better results, especially for cruising through your middle and elder ages. It becomes a habit in your favor. If you have stopped for some reason, start. Reading Peter Attia will give you some great advice and purpose. If you are over 25 in BMI world, you know you have to get started, especially if you don’t want to collect things like diabetes, heart disease, dementia, and infertility. “NUff said.
