Glycemic Index and Optimal Health

A healthy low Glycemic Index (GI) diet offers both immediate and long term health benefits, particularly in conjunction with other healthy lifestyle practices–regular physical exercise, sleep hygiene, etc. It can help control your weight and appetite, and may even improve your mental performance. Some of the benefits of low GI diets:
Better blood sugar control; Better blood cholesterol levels-especially triglycerides; Improved alertness; Improved energy levels; Easier weight control; Reduced risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers, and other inflammatory processes.
(Story quote and most of above info from Healthy Eating, using the glycemic index for optimal health. Dr. Susanna Holt. Metro Books. NY)

With a little guidance and about three weeks of practice you can master the changes and be on your way to a much healthier life. Helping people work towards optimal health is what I do. Ask me, I can’t ask you.

“Unhappye are they whyche have more appetite than Thyr stomake”
