If it came from a plant, eat it; if it was made in a plant, don’t

I suspect that we do not give Mother Nature the credit she deserves for giving us the gifts of true nourishment, wellness, prevention, healing, robust health and life. Now we are receiving the bounty of fresh greens, berries, edible “weeds”, and much more. Volunteer black raspberries are here in my yard, delicate and tasty. Blackberries are coming in as are the blueberries. Strawberries have been here for a few weeks. Fiddleheads, mushrooms, greens of all sorts, edible flowers, herbs. All good. Being of Scandinavian genes I have known Lingonberries, also known as Cloudberries or tyttebaer. They outshine cranberries, for me, anyway. Used frequently with meat dishes, on pancakes, ice cream, with cheese and much more. Turns out they are very healthy for you. Take a peek at the article “Love Berries?
