Microbiome and Neurological Disorders

Stress ties our digestive system in knots. So it skips several beats or functions. What we gave it for fuel further exacerbates the outcome. There is a correlation b/w the gut microbiome and neurological disorders. Depression is one, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, ALS, for starters. It is serious, and we are in charge. It is certainly more effective to nurture this system versus trying to fix it after it is broken. The neuro diseases are progressive but are quiet until a tipping point is reached. The tipping point is very significant damage. These things are better caught very early, the first year, if you want to really take care of business. At that point there is no knowledge of damage starting, i.e., an individual has no inkling that anything is changing. More to come on things to do, and there will be challenges with the time frame, existing damage, and recovery. The time do do something is now, for all of us. (Much of this material comes from a journal Nutritional Outlook/ March 2023, pgs 26-29, with citations. It is not peer reviewed but is damn good stuff. I see this info in many other places as well. Nutritionaloutlook.com. Story and post two days ago used this reference as well). Let’s hear some noise about this!!!
