Men’s Fertility Health

Men get the attention this month, and we aren’t going to whine about being forgotten until this time next year. We don’t talk much about fertility, except for the lawn and gardens. However, none of us would be here if it wasn’t a thing. Men obviously make a 50% contribution to the genetic make up of your future baby. Nutrition now, before the egg and sperm unite, is super important. To make a difference in the outcome this has to be addressed a minimum of 3 months before, and through the pregnancy. Being overweight can have a significant impact on your fertility. One study found that a 22 pound increase in male weight, above the healthy weight range, reduced fertility by 10%.
