Your Pantry Fix is on my mind– What To Add More Of In Your Diet and Pantry:

We’ve talked a lot about what to ditch and switch, but it’s important to remember which foods we should ENJOY more of! 🥬🍓
If you think you should eat more fruits and veggies, you are correct! Here’s why:
· Thanks to all the water and fiber they contain, they fill you up and are digested more slowly, keeping you satisfied longer.
· They are loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
· A diet rich in fruits and veggies may help lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, lower your risk of eye and digestive problems, plus have a beneficial effect on blood sugar which can help keep appetite in check. Wow!
For healthy eating, you also want to have more of these items on hand:
· Fiber-rich foods
· Water
· Lean protein–for every meal and snack, especially Leucine sources
· Whole-food snacks (if you still need snacks, which you won’t if eating properly with your other meals and are optimally hydrated?
