Gluten level rule making by FDA

Time is short. All gluten sensitive, celiacs, Crohn’s, IBS, IBD, DH, any auto immune disease people and their supporters should respond to this proposed rule. By some definition there are over 3 million with CD and 18 million with gluten sensitivity. The truth is everyone is sensitive to gluten but most don’t know it yet. The proposed rule setting allowable gluten at 20ppm is too high. Think of all the daily exposures–your meals and snacks, airborne, crosses and derivatives, double dipping, vitamins and other supplements, medications, shampoo, lip balm, lipstick, on and on. You can see how overload is easy. Catch a virus, high stress, et al, and you will have a very bad day (3-4 days for me). One exposure affects your immune system for 2 years. How many 2 years do you have for immune dysfunction? Send a letter to FDA and to your Senators and Representatives. Our health and safety is at stake, and the fire is soon to be lighted.
